About iZone.
iZone is a Promise of Transformation using the outdoors to create a learning environment, help individuals and organizations explore their potential,
instil a spirit of enthusiasm, positivity and adventure. iZone is about creating a alternate learning journey that seeks to invoke the knowledge, ’draw out; rather than ’pour in’ awaken to the innate power that resides within each one of us through action oriented activities, exercises and simulations that include but are not limited to outdoor adventure like mountain climbing, white water rafting, skydiving, skiing, rock-climbing, ballooning and paragliding. iZone youth programs are about enabling youth to develop a belief in themselves, to recognize the enormous potential that they have, build self-confidence, learn to confront their fears, create awareness and sensitivity toward the environment and develop a love for adventure. |

Safety Measures.Safety is the first priority at iZone and we maintain a excellent safety profile. Thus safety comes first, followed by learning and fun. While we are confidant that we have ‘safety best practices’ in place, that does not let us get complacent. As an organisation which enjoys the great bounty that nature has bestowed upon us, the iZone team takes its social responsibility very seriously. We are commited to the physical, psychological, and emotional safety of every participant, and staff member, and ourselves. We spare no effort to provide a safe experience and create an environment where people feel free to ‘seek adventure by choice’. The outdoors team at iZone, comprises professionals who have headed National Adventure Institutes, led expeditions to Mount Everest, all the iZone outdoors team members are certified professionals from Institutions like , Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and have the best credentials in their field. They are individuals of very high capability and standing who have proven themselves time and again.
We run a low 1:5 trainer to participant ratio. This means that participants always have access to and supervision by an experienced professional. It also ensures safety of the participants. Further, at every stage at least two members from Team iZone recheck all the safety aspects of the activities to ensure complete safety for all participants. All the outdoor leaders at iZone are trained in First aid and CPR to address any eventuality. Every member of Team iZone carries basic safety kits at our camps & off site locations.
SAFETY CHECKSWe have various aspects of safety built into our programs:

All iZone programs are run by Leave No Trace (LNT) ethics. LNT is about respecting and caring for the wild and for doing our part to protect our limited resources. The way to this is simple, but impactful: change of behavior. Participants learn to use minimum impact skills in every outdoor situation – how far to camp from water sources, where to pitch a tent, how to build a minimum impact fire (or whether to build one in the first place).
